Coverage on trips by Buffel Outdoor Activities B.V. suspended

14-11-2025 – The Board of VZR Garant has decided to suspend the coverage on package holidays, linked travel arrangements, and individual travel services sold by Buffel Outdoor Activities B.V. in Oldenzaal (Chamber of Commerce number 59224835).

Package holidays, linked travel arrangements, and individual travel services falling within the scope of the VZR Garant guarantee scheme and booked with Buffel Outdoor Activities B.V. before 14 November 2025 (00:00) are covered by VZR Garant. All package holidays, linked travel arrangements, and individual travel services booked with Buffel Outdoor Activities B.V. on or after 14 November 2025 are not covered by VZR Garant.

If your booking with Buffel Outdoor Activities B.V. still falls under VZR Garant’s coverage, this coverage also applies to any future payments you make for that booking. You can read in the guarantee scheme what our guarantee includes and what coverage VZR Garant provides to travellers.

Please note: amounts voluntarily paid in advance to the travel company are never covered by our guarantee scheme. Before making any additional payment to the travel company, always check whether you are contractually obliged to do so under the (general) terms and conditions of your agreement. Also make sure your deposit complies with the deposit policy described in article 2.7 of the guarantee scheme.
